The price of HDB decreases 0.1% when resale in Q2 2017

In the second quarter of this year, the price of resale flats is decreased by 0.1% in a correlation of the early months.

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has announced that the latest Resale Pricing Index. This information is a good news for the buyers. Following that, in the first quarter of 2017, the  Resale Pricing Index was 133.9, now, it's 133.7.

HDB also said, on 28th July, both the detailed public housing data and the Resale Price Index will be launched. Besides, In August, 3.850 Build-To-Order apartments in Bukit Batok and Sengkang will be opened for sales.

NOTES

• Q1, 2009 is adopted as the new base period with the index at 100.
• The index from Q1, 1990 to Q3, 2014 are rebased to the new base period at Q1, 2009.
• The index from Q4 2004 onwards is computed using the stratified hedonic regression method.
• The index for Q2 2017 is a flash estimate.
